CEDIA Education 2007

Help bring CEDIA Education to the forefront
CEDIA is looking for volunteers to present the CEDIA Core Education material at Expo and other venues throughout the year. In recognition of your contribution CEDIA would like to invite you to consider becoming a CEDIA Certified Instructor (CCI). This will include, if necessary flights and accommodation to the training Centre in Botany.
It is now a REQUIREMENT as a presenter of any CEDIA Core Courses that you;
Complete the Volunteer Instructor and Subject Matter Expert Application form in order to be reviewed for the potential assignments within the CEDIA's education opportunities
Attend the CEDIA Train the Trainer Program
This initially will be taught at the CEDIA Training Centre on the 7th February 2007 by Dave Pedigo (CEDIA US Education staff)
The Train the Trainer course includes a review of the adult learning process, managing the learning environment, effective and quantifiable content delivery techniques. As a required component of the course CEDIA Certified Instructors will be subject to a review of the application of the course content while instructing at upcoming Expo educational events.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be recognised as a CEDIA Certified Instructor. CCIs will receive a certificate of completion and a CCI pin and will be recognised at the Expo Awards Night.
The process is a critical step towards the validation and acceptance of the CEDIA Education courses on the worldwide certification stage. It is understood that you may be a seasoned presenter, instructor, or teacher and may be reticent about investing your time and energy in going to a class on how to teach!
The next CEDIA Certified Instructor Train the Trainer program is Tuesday 7th February 2007 at the CEDIA Training Centre Botany 9.00am - 6.00pm
