CEDIA Australasia's Education Centre Opens its Doors
CEDIA Australasia launch a new CEDIA Education facility to support the growing need for professional education in their Industry
Sydney, Australia, 17 October, 2006: Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) Australasia today launched its new Education Centre in Botany, to support growing demand for industry education and CEDIA-Certified courses across Australasia.
The hands-on training facility, located just 10 minutes from Sydney Airport, will complement CEDIA's online training facility. 2007 will see the launch of over 12 new E-learning courses. Ultimately allowing CEDIA to improve and expand educational opportunities available at all levels for its Australasian members.
"CEDIA recognise the important need for trained professionals to be working in our industry and for this reason the launch our purpose built Botany education centre was one of CEDIA's key objectives this year" said Stephen Miller, General Manager of CEDIA Australasia.
"Together with CEDIA Expo training and our E-learning, the new education centre provides the opportunity for members to gain even more comprehensive CEDIA education and certification training year round".
The Education Centre is located next to CEDIA Australasia's head office in Sydney and is set to become a hub of activity for the association and its members. Offering a boardroom, practical training areas and an education room; the facilities are available for the use of CEDIA and its members.
As Stephen Miller said "All CEDIA members are encouraged to use the new education facilities. Many members have been looking forward to having a facility where they are able to train their staff; the new centre will provide them with that".
Education has always been a focus for CEDIA and providing professional training for all members is a significant part of the associations offering. The launch of the CEDIA Education Centre supports this commitment and will allow CEDIA education to further develop the professional, business, management and technical design and installation skills of the industry.
