Details

DMG Worldmedia Home Technology Show, Sydney Exhibition Centre, 18 - 21 May 2006.

The Sydney Home Show, an icon in the industry has come of age. Now in its 18th year, the Sydney Home Show now occupies 4 halls of Darling Harbour and has 5,000 sqm metres of space dedicated to the T3 Home Technology Show in Hall 4, with its own entrance.  The Sydney Home Show is the destination for 30,000 to 40,000 high-income visitors (CAB audited) between the ages of 25-54.

As Home Technology has emerged as a key interest of today's homemaker, with home theatres, wireless networks and home automation a key feature of home renovations, the shows provide the perfect venue for speciality technology businesses to represent their niche in a face-to-face selling environment directly to a targeted audience who are looking to research and buy.

Both events will showcase leading manufacturers, suppliers and installers of Home Technology and entertainment, in a fun, interactive expo environment.  Industry leaders have been well represented at the show and have included LG, Samsung, Sony, Oregon Scientific, Fujitsu, Sony, Bose, Sanyo, Hewlett Packard, Epson, Microsoft, Netgear, Clipsal, HPM, Advanced Living, Home Theatre Technologies, Home Theatre Accessories, VAF Research, Ice TV, and many more.

The Sydney Home Show is supported by nine special visitor attractions to entertain, inspire, enthuse and create an experience for visitors.  This year T3 will be featuring the T3 interactive gadget zone and home technology seminar series.

The Sydney Home Show runs between 18-21 May 2006.

The Sydney and Melbourne Home Shows are presented by dmg world media - Australasia's largest consumer Home Show organisers. Globally, dmg world media hosts 300 market leading trade exhibitions, consumer shows, and fairs each year. dmg world media is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Daily Mail and General Trust plc (DMGT), one of the largest and most successful media companies in the United Kingdom.

We have made significant changes to both shows, which speak to the reasons why our target market will come to each event.  They are as follows:

Reinvestment into the shows, spending more on research and consumer trends,  marketing and advertising and more on visitor features

· New advertising creative campaign

· Industry think tanks to brainstorm strategies for the show

· Strong media partnerships

· Complete redraw of the floorplans, to provide segementation

· New, improved and inspirational visitor features (that reflect the needs of the market as determined by recent conducted focus groups), including designer rooms, interior design seminars, free interior decorating consultation area, female retreats, celebrity kitchen stage, home improvement/DIY stages and in Sydney, the T3 gadget zone incorporating a home technology seminar series.
