CEDIA announces Electronic Lifestyle® Award Winners

SYDNEY, 17 July, 2009 - The annual CEDIA Electronic Lifestyle® awards, sponsored by Sound and Image magazine, punctuated the frenetic activities on the CEDIA Expo show floor at Darling Harbour last night.  The awards evening, held at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf , Pyrmont, was well attended by around 300 CEDIA members, custom installers and their guests from all States of Australia, as well as North America and the .

The awards showcased some amazing installations, including stunning examples of home automation, home theatres to die for, an amazing yacht fitted out with every perceivable piece of electronics, practical commercial applications and great audio visual product implementation.

CEDIA Asia Pacific Executive Director, Stephen Miller , who was presented with a special award for his contribution to the industry, said the night was a huge success.

“The judges, from here and US, had an extremely hard time choosing the winners.  And no wonder, with twice as many entries as previous years (82) from 31 member companies and across 13 categories, many hours were spent dissecting each submission.  The caliber of the entries was outstanding and showed how the custom electronic installation industry has matured.
