CEDIA ELECTRONIC LIFESTYLES® AWARDS 2009
In 2008 the CEDIA Awards were a huge success with over 50 entries across 11 categories, and over 300 people attending the Awards Night to see who the winners were.
With the change in location in 2009 from the Gold Coast to Sydney there has also been a change in the name of the CEDIA Awards. Previously known as CEDIA Custom Installation Awards, the now CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles® Awards is anticipated to be bigger and better than previous years, with yet another new category.
In 2009 CEDIA has introduced the ‘Best Marine Project’ category, giving a total of 12 categories for ‘CEDIA Awards 2009’:
Ø Best Integrated Home Installation over $300,000 Ø Best Integrated Home Installation $150,000 - $300,000 Ø Best Integrated Home Installation under $150,000 Ø Best Media Room Ø Best Commercial Project Ø Best Dressed System (Residential) Ø Best Marine Project Ø Best Home Theatre over $100,000 Ø Best Home Theatre $50,000 - $100,000 Ø Best Home Theatre under $50,000 Ø Best Special Project – Domestic Ø Best Project Design & Documentation
As CEDIA strives to improve on the Awards process each year there has been a change to the Official Entry Form, with 3 new forms being introduced. The 3 new Official Entry Forms will cover categories: ‘Best Home Theatre’, ‘Best Special Project – Domestic’ and ‘Best Project Design & Documentation’.
Each category will be judged by an expert panel and winners will be announced at the CEDIA Awards Night held at Doltone House, Pyrmont (Sydney, Australia), Thursday 16 July 2009
