CEDIA Announces New Board Members at AGM

Following its recent AGM, CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) has revealed the composition of the newly elected CEDIA Asia Pacific Board (Region 4). Don MacKenzie has been announced as the new CEDIA President with Chris McGowen stepping down after four years in the position and will serve as immediate-past President for the next two years.
Don MacKenzie, from CEDIA ESP (Electronic Systems Professional) company Home Theatrix, takes up the position of CEDIA President, following two years service as a Board member, most recently as Vice President.. New to the Board is Andrew Bloom from Harvey Norman Commercial (Caringbah) who takes up the role of Outreach Chair, and David Meyer from Melbourne-based company HDMI/Kordz who will serve as the Marketing/Public Relations Chair, Peter Greentree from Len Wallis Audio will serve as the Treasurer and Steven Hill from another Melbourne bas company who will serve as the Education Chair having being closely involved in CEDIA education for many years.
The full Board which will serve for a two year period on the new Board (unless otherwise stated) is as follows, with their assigned responsibilities and development tasks:

Brenton Morris (Intelligent Homes): Vice President & Membership Chair
Steven Hill (Inteverge): Education Chair
David Meyer (HDMI/Kordz): Marketing Chair
Peter Greentree (Len Wallis Audio): Treasurer
Simon Wehr (Clipsal): Expo Chair & Trade Supplier Chair
Andrew Bloom (Harvey Norman Commercial): Outreach Chair
Chris McGowen, (Advanced Living) will continue to serve as an active member of the Board for a further two years as Immediate Past President.

Thanks also to Robert Sanders & Jefferson Dowley who leaves the board after four years” says Don MacKenzie.
The CEDIA AGM took place on Tuesday 14th October at the CEDIA Office in Botany. Following the CEDIA Asia Pacific AGM the Association will be producing an annual report which will be available to all members.
