CEDIA Asia Pacific

Awards Criteria

  1. The CEDIA Awards are only open to CEDIA Asia Pacific Electronic Systems Professional (ESP) members.
  2. CEDIA ESP members may submit a project into as many categories as they like, however each company may only enter each category once. Each project must be accompanied by a separate Official Entry Form. The same project can be entered for more than one category, but will require a separate submission form for each category.
  3. To maintain anonymity, please ensure that all entrants’ company name references are removed from the entry form, drawings and supporting documents supplied. If this condition is not met the entry may be disqualified.
  4. We cannot judge incomplete or inaccurate submissions.
  5. Entry forms MUST NOT be completed in CAPITAL LETTERS.
  6. Any project submitted must have been completed within a period extending from Friday 1 May 2009 to Wednesday 31 March 2010. Projects are only eligible for consideration once into any year’s CEDIA Awards scheme, so if, for example, a project has been entered into a category in the CEDIA Awards 2008 or 2009, then it cannot be entered into the CEDIA Awards 2010.
  7. Clients must agree for the project to be submitted prior to submission and must agree to be contacted by phone.
  8. Images submitted must be available as high resolution jpegs (supplied at 300dpi or larger).
  9. Images submitted must not include further inset images or graphics.
  10. By submitting images and accompanying material, participating companies grant CEDIA (including CEDIA US, CEDIA ASIA PACIFIC and CEDIA Region 1) and anyone authorised by CEDIA, the right to reproduce, publish and otherwise use the photographs submitted in any and all, but not limited to, media, advertising, trade event, and marketing communications activities. CEDIA will, at all time’s, use best efforts, but makes no guarantee, to include photo/dealer credits upon use. Member participation in the awards scheme indemnifies CEDIA against any and all liabilities, claims, expenses, including legal fees, arising from the use or reproduction of such materials.
  11. Deadline for submission of projects is 5.00pm AEST Wednesday, 31 March 2010.
  12. Projects will remain confidential throughout the judging process.
  13. Winners will be announced at the 2010 CEDIA Awards Night in Melbourne, Wednesday 23 June 2010.
  14. Demonstration homes, display homes and show rooms can only be included in categories 5 (Best Commercial Project) and 10 (Best Special Project – Domestic).
  15. Photo Display Boards can be collected after the close of the expo between 5pm and 6pm. A charge of $50 per board will apply and be charged and invoiced after collection. Freight charges apply if any boards are packaged and sent post-show. Additional boards can be purchased upon request (POA).
  16. The judge’s decision is final.
