CEDIA 2010 ELECTRONIC LIFESTYLES® AWARDS


The prestigious CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles® Awards recognise and promote high quality system design, installation and integration within the custom electronic automation industry; setting the standard for CEDIA Electronic Systems Professional members across CEDIA Asia Pacific.

In 2009 the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles® Awards saw its most successful year with over 80 entries across 12 categories, and over 300 people attending the Awards Night to see who the winners were.

A CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles® Award is an endorsement of the skills of installers/designers within the custom electronic automation industry, and provides a valuable opportunity for marketing and promotion of those skills to their client base.

Entry is open to all CEDIA Electronic Systems Professional (ESP) members. The entries are judged by a panel of industry experts and the winners are announced at the CEDIA Awards Night, to be held in Melbourne Wednesday 23 June 2010, during the annual CEDIA Expo (CEDIA Expo 2010 will be held in Melbourne and runs 23-25 June).

There are 12 categories in this year’s awards scheme:

1.            Best Integrated Home Installation over AUD$300,000

2.            Best Integrated Home Installation AUD$150,000 - $300,000

3.            Best Integrated Home Installation under AUD$150,000

4.            Best Media Room

5.            Best Commercial Project

6.            Best Dressed System - Residential

7.            Best Home Theatre over AUD$100,000

8.            Best Home Theatre AUD$50,000 - $100,000

9.            Best Home Theatre under AUD$50,000

10.         Best Special Project – Domestic

11.         Best Project Design & Documentation

12.         Best Marine Project

Deadline for awards submissions: 5.00pm AEST Wednesday 31 March 2010.

Each year the awards are judged by a panel of influential industry expert's, with two judges for this year already being announced - Utz Baldwin and Ken Erdmann (refer to 'Judges' in the menu bar)
