This two-day course covers all the IP and Wireless Networking content necessary for the CEDIA ESTII, ESTIII and Designer Level One Certification Exams.

TCP/IP is now the dominant protocol for both the transport of media, and of control signals around The Home. Running over a combination of Ethernet and 802.11x wireless networks, the design, installation and configuration of the network is critical to supporting a robust, high performance system.

This intensive two-day workshop will take participants to a level where they should feel comfortable on site designing and configuring networks for the majority of projects. Though suitable for individuals with little or no networking knowledge, the course is also suitable for individuals wishing to formalize their networking knowledge against CEDIA best practices.

We will be using a combination of seminar sessions, combined with hands-on configuration of real-world equipment. All participants will be given copies of comprehensive course notes (These are far more than just the Powerpoint slides). There is flexibility in the schedule on day 2 to explore additional concepts as required by the group.
