Training & Core Courses
CEDIA Education Core Courses are designed as the industry standard for excellence in education. They are created by education and training professionals using proven instructional design methodology. Moreover, they specifically support industry competencies outlined by CEDIA Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and can provide a pathway to the CEDIA Certifications.
Core courses are offered individually across all five education curriculums and are vital steps to building a knowledge base that enables you to work more effectively.
The Core Courses are in the form of a levels based program which is shown below:
| Level 100: | These courses are knowledge based and are designed to teach the technical fundamentals necessary to perform as a technician or system designer |
| Level 200: | These courses assume some prior knowledge and taech more advanced technical topics. |
| Level 300: | These courses are suitable for experienced candidates wanting to expand on existing knowledge and learn about applying the theory learnt on other courses. |
| Level 400: | Our most advanced courses; these are targeted at very experienced candidates. Courses at this level teach the syntheses of existing and new knowledge that enable candidates to master a subject area. |
All Core Courses carry CEU (Continue Education Units) and typical values range from 1.5 to 3 units depending on each course.
